I took a class at Suzoo's Wools
this past week to get some new ideas for my hand painted yarns. It was with Susan who is a wonderful teacher. If you live in or are visiting the Southern California area you should definitely check Suzoo's out. It is a little out of the way, but if you follow the directions on the website, you will have no problem finding them. They have tons of terrific yarn and the staff is helpful and friendly. I dyed 3 hanks of yarn. They are from left to right, Berries & Cream, Sunrise, and Leah's Roses. The picture doesn't do them justice, but it's the best I can do without a macro lens.
They were so fun to make and I can't wait to knit them up. They are all merino yarn in different weights dyed to be variegated yarn. I originally tried to get into the class in late October and was really bummed out because it was full. So I had to wait until the November class. But it turned out perfectly because I was the only student! I got to have Susan and the materials all to myself. I am hooked and can't wait to do a bunch more during the Thanksgiving Weekend.
